‘Vikings’ Season 4, Episode 13 Spoilers: "Two Journeys" – Ragnar, Ivar Land on England; Lagertha Declares War Against Aslaug

‘Vikings’ season 4’s episode 13, entitled "Two Journeys," is set to follow Ragnar and Ivar as they find themselves in England following a shipwreck. Meanwhile, Lagertha finally declares a war against Aslaug.

The brief synopsis for episode 13 posted on TV Guide reads, “Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) and Ivar (Alex Høgh) deal with an issue involving their crew; Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) has a surprising reunion.”

It seems that the incoming episode will find Ragnar and his devoted son Ivar in Wessex, England after a shipwreck that only left them alive. They must make their way into the Royal Villa at all costs. According to Game N Guide, historical accounts revealed that Ragnar will meet his death in England – specifically in King Aelle's kingdom in Northumbria. It is unclear whether his imminent demise will take place in the episode.

In the promo, King Ecbert’s son Aethelwulf proclaims “We found Ragnar Lothbrok!” as he holds up some debris from the ship. It seems that the enemy will launch a full-scale hunt for Ragnar. Meanwhile, Ragnar tells his son to act like a cripple to make him seem less threatening before marching towards the gates together.

Meanwhile, Bjorn asks Rollo (Clive Standen) for safe passage for his journey to Rome. His uncle decides to honor his request only if he can accompany Bjorn on the mission. It looks like the two will end up taking the voyage together.

Finally, it is teased that Ragnar’s two wives will finally go head to head in battle for the glory of queen. By the end of the promo, Lagertha (Kathryn Winnick) is seen declaring war against Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland). It would be interesting to see who would rise as victor in the much-anticipated confrontation.

‘Vikings’ season 4’s episode 13, entitled "Two Journeys," is scheduled to air on History on December 14, 2016. It will be followed by episode 14, entitled "In the Uncertain Hour Before the Morning," scheduled for December 21.
