Ukraine to host 3rd annual conference on bitcoin and blockchain

Third Annual Blockchain and Bitcoin Conference Kiev, a unique conference on cryptocurrency, is scheduled to take place on 23rd September 2016 that will address the need of bitcoins and why Ukraine stands a good chance of becoming an ideological center of the global bitcoin community.

According to the conference website, organized by Smile Expo, the conference will unite blockchain and cryptocurrency enthusiasts, experts and specialists including founders of crypto platforms and blockchain-based services, representatives of Ukrainian national and foreign banks, entrepreneurs, investors, among others.

The participants will be divided into three groups – ‘rookies’, ‘pro’ and ‘developers’ and currently, Rookie ticket costs $60. Students can attend at 50% discount. A Pro ticket costs $99. Online ticket sales will close on 22 September 2016.

‘Rookies’ are designed for those who want to get acquainted with concepts like blockchain and smart contracts, but did not fully understand about it. A step-by-step explanation of the main notion will be given by specialists. They will also mention what projects can be built on the basis of the blockchain technology. ‘Pro’ participants will explore topics like perspectives of mining, fintech, that are based on blockchain technology. ‘Developers’ will have a look at blockchain services in action and will learn how smart devices work and how code is written for them.

The key speakers of the conference include Max Krupyshev, COO at Cubits; Oleg Kudrenko, an independent bitcoin developer; Kir Kelevra, CEO at Bitup.io and Michael Chobanian, founder of Kuna bitcoin agency.
