US Presidential Election Series: In panic Clinton camp throws Russian allegations on Trump

Hillary Clinton campaign is using Russia as a shield to distract the public from the criminal wrongdoings that have been committed by Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. After Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) director James Comey notified congress that he is reopening the probe into Hillary Clinton’s use of Private email server, Democratic lawmakers pounced on the director, saying that he interfered with the US election. Some of them blamed director Comey of breaking the law under ‘Hatch Act’ which bars government official in interfering with US election. However, Republican congressman Trey Gowdy, who chaired the Benghazi committee that finally led to this whole new email scandal said that the director is only updating on his commitment to reopen the case if new and substantial information have been found. He also pointed out that campaigning, done by President or chief executive of a country in favor of a candidate under FBI investigation also breaks the Hatch Act.

They have come out alleging that director Comey is withholding information on Donald Trump’s secret ties with Russia and the accused the country of interfering with US election all over again. Russia has already denied any such allegations and accusing of Donald Trump’s secret ties has turned out to be false. Major diplomats around the world believe that hammering Russia for political gains would ultimately lead to the deterioration of foreign relations.
