Tokyo Disneyland is now allowing Halloween costume-clad visitors to stroll around the theme park, usually prohibited to avoid confusion with official characters welcoming guests if they have special entrance tickets.
The park also prohibits guests with regular tickets to be fully dressed in costumes to keep restrooms from being congested with those getting dressed or undressed.
These special ticket holders should also enter the theme park between 8 am and 10 am. They have to change into their costumes before entry.
Elementary school or younger children are usually only the ones allowed to be dressed fully in costumes at Tokyo Disneyland in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture.
Adults could wear such costumes only during the Halloween season until two years ago.
The park called off last year’s Halloween events to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Costumed guests can enjoy parades and part of the attractions at the park.
