MINNEAPOLIS, March 01, 2018 -- The Tile Shop (NASDAQ:TTS), a specialty retailer of manufactured and natural stone tiles, today announced the release of nine unique tiles that make up the London collection.

Including both colorful geometric patterns and coordinating neutrals, this series is inspired by encaustic cement tile floors commonly found throughout England, the 19th century center of production for encaustic tiles. The London collection is made of durable, easy-to-maintain porcelain but features the handmade, cement look that encaustic tiles are known for. Imported from Italy, the dappled appearance of the solid-colored tiles adds warmth while the geometric tiles create colorful patterns on floors or walls, all in a warm color palette of browns and tans with rich blue accents.
“Many of our customers are fearless in their design choices and this new series is the perfect option for them. This contemporary take on a centuries-old style will look beautiful in any number of design schemes,” said Kevin McDaniel, Vice President of Merchandising at The Tile Shop.
The London series is just one of dozens of new and unique product collections releasing this month and represents part of a commitment to offer the leading assortment in the industry.
