“The Purge” Season 1 Episode 5 will feature gruesome scenes, as expected of a TV series based on a movie franchise about a murder-happy America. There will be some blood involved, of course, along with some Purge antics from the usual crowd that enjoys such things. However, the show might be taking it too far if it intends to show the death of a pregnant woman along with her unborn child.
Now, pregnant women getting killed in the most brutal fashion is not exactly new. The infamous “Red Wedding” from “Game of Thrones” absolutely changed the game for how far a TV show can be allowed to go. Apparently, as long as it is popular enough, a series can go quite far. Perhaps this is the thinking behind “The Purge” Season 1 Episode 5 in the case of Jenna (Hannah Anderson)?
Then again, it isn’t even guaranteed that Jenna is actually at risk of anything. This scenario is only made likely because Maid Catalina (Paulina Galvez) had already warned Jenna in the previous episode to leave while she still could, Fansided reports. Considering the nature of the series, what else could this mean for “The Purge” Season 1 Episode 5 other than certain death?
For a clearer look at what fans can expect from “The Purge” Season 1 Episode 5, the show’s Twitter account did feature a trailer. It was posted a while back, but it should still serve its purpose.
