ANN ARBOR, Mich., March 21, 2017 -- TECAT Performance Systems, an Ann Arbor based business that designs and manufactures wireless sensors, is pleased to announce a new sales representative agreement with Barnstorm Aviation Solutions, LLC (BAS) signed recently by both parties.
“I am delighted to be on board with BAS,” said TECAT’s VP of Business Development, Don Keating. “TECAT Performance Systems sales are growing at a rapid rate, and we needed to expand our sales team with a knowledgeable and reputable partner in the hard to reach home builder and experimental aircraft space. BAS is very experienced in the general aviation space, and we are very happy to be working alongside this organization.”
To launch the relationship TECAT Performance Systems today announced it will exhibit in partnership with BAS at SUN 'n FUN Int'l Fly-In Expo being held April 4 - 9 in Lakeland, Florida. TECAT will display its wireless torque measuring and monitoring system at the Expo. BAS will provide live demonstrations of the systems ability to measure in-flight torque in experimental aircraft.
“TECAT’s WISER systems have proved themselves to be highly accurate and reliable solutions for a number of challenging applications in many industries for measuring torque, and we expect to bring this reliable technology to the general aviation space,” said Matt Mathias, President and Founder of Barnstorm Aviation Solutions, LLC. “We are thrilled to make this game-changing technology available to our customers.”
TECAT Performance Systems launched their WISER Model 4000 System last year, the latest in non-invasive, low power consumption, wireless torque measurement systems. The sensor has done very well, particularly in the test and instrumentation market, due to its small size and high accuracy. In addition to delivering leading-edge technology, TECAT is known for listening to users and incorporating their feedback into its products. This provides added value for customers while keeping the solutions at the forefront of this rapidly advancing industry.
