“Star Wars: Episode 9” may surprise fans with the return of Snoke, the Supreme Leader of the First Order. This will be a shocking development because this villain already died when Kylo Ren killed him off in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”
According to Digital Spy, the rumor about Snoke’s reappearance in “Star Wars: Episode 9” emerged after Andy Serkis canceled his appearance at the Keystone Comic-Con, citing scheduling conflict. It was said that fans began speculating that the actor may have commitments to the new "Star Wars" film. DS noted that there is a possibility that Snoke will return; however, Serkis’s absence could also be due to other projects and not because of “Star Wars.”

Meanwhile, Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) got fans talking when he posted a cryptic message on Twitter. It appears that the actor was trying to tease the fans and he surely got their attention.
On Sept. 14, he tweeted, “THE” and added “(to be continued...)” at the end. With his post, fans are dying to know what he meant and some wrote their own guesses in the comments. Many were hilarious like “THE….Naked Force Ghost” and “Joker” while others asked if that was a hint on the pilot episode’s title.
Although there was no reply from Hamill, fans are still looking forward to more teasers in the coming days. Perhaps, they could find a clue as to what he was implying.“Star Wars: Episode 9” is set to be released on Dec. 20, 2019.
“Star Wars: Episode 9” is the third and final installment of the film’s sequel trilogy. It is the follow-up to “The Force Awakens” and “The Last Jedi.” It was directed by J.J. Abrams and co-written with Chris Terrio. The film is distributed by Walt Disney Studios and produced by Lucasfilm and Bad Robot Productions.
