Gowther's successful rescue of the Archangel Mael from the four commandments has borne fruit, but Mael's rescue is not the only thing that the rest of the cast have to worry about in “Seven Deadly Sins” chapter 283.
The fight isn't over for Meliodas, who now finds himself confronting the Demon King. According to Otakukart, “Seven Deadly Sins” chapter 283 will open with Meliodas being shown who is boss by the Demon King. The Demon King's single punch is enough to almost kill Meliodas without the help of Hawk and Ban.
With the Demon King almost unbeatable in “Seven Deadly Sins” chapter 283, Meliodas will have to figure out a way to get through his defenses. Ban will share with Meliodas that he has been studying the Demon King's power for quite a while and has moved away from trying to draw power from the Demon King to giving him power. But even with his studies, the immortal Ban is unable to give Meliodas an answer about how to hurt the Demon King.
This gives Meliodas a hint that the Demon King's ability only absorbs the damage that Meliodas is able to deal, thus giving the Demon King enough strength to defeat him. With Meliodas figuring out that the Demon King's ability simply reverses the damage being dealt him, he now stands a chance at going toe-to-toe with the demon in “Seven Deadly Sins” chapter 283.
If spoilers for “Seven Deadly Sins” chapter 283 are correct, the Demon King will go out of his way to confirm Meliodas's suspicion about his ability. The Demon King, in his arrogance, would want to see Meliodas put up a fight before he defeats the series's main protagonist.
Fans looking forward to how the epic battle between Meliodas and the Demon King will unfold can check out “Seven Deadly Sins” Chapter 283 when it is officially released on Sept. 26, 2018.
