Scarlett Johansson is being accused of being lazy and sort of irresponsible for allegedly refusing to diet and work out for her “Black Widow” Marvel movie. The “Avengers” spinoff involves lots of action scenes; thus the actress is expected to be fit, but since she does not want to prepare, she is being criticized.

As per the report on OK! magazine, Scarlett wants to cut corners and simply pass her action and other difficult scenes to her stunt double. Rather than following a diet routine and exercising to be fit for her role as a superhero, she intends to make the stunt experts do the heavy lifting for her.

“Scarlett’s no gym rat, and she has no interest in gaining muscle or learning new fight moves just for a movie,” the source states. “She wants to leave the dangerous stuff to the pros and focus more on the script and casting, and luckily she and the Marvel bosses are seeing eye to eye.”

However, the gossip police publication, could not agree with the story because it is not making any sense. Gossip Cop pointed out that Scarlett Johansson has always been dedicated to her role as Black Widow in the Marvel movies. In fact, she works hard with her trainer so her lycra costume would fit.

Her trainer, Bobby Strom, revealed that the actress works out 7 days a week and each day, she spends 90 minutes on the exercise routines alone. Her efforts were for her character to come out the way she should or even better.

Scarlett’s workout for the previous “Avengers” movie was even listed down by Pop Workout. Judging by the repetitions, duration and the level of her routines, it was apparent that she has been exerting a lot of effort to prepare for the movie. Thus, the rumor that she is being lazy for exercising and refusing to diet for “Black Widow” is nonsense.

Moreover, the 36-year-old star is very fit these days, so she does not need to go on a diet or engage in heavy workouts. She was even featured on “Woman’s Health” just after doing the “Avengers: Endgame” and with her toned physique everyone can say she can take care the action scenes that will be required from her in her solo spinoff film that is said to begin filming this year.
