“Samurai 8” chapter 34 will mark the beginning of a new arc. The previous arc finally ended Benkei’s head being slashed by Sanda and ultimately saving the universe from destruction.

Benkei’s fall - Here’s how it happened

In the last chapter, Hachi and the gang helped Sen in infiltrating the ship carrying Benkei. They need to get a hold of the ship, or the villain will launch the missile that will destroy the world. Fortunately, Sanda was also with them to provide assistance, which proved to be valuable after all.

Benkei’s counter-attacks were powerful, but with Sanda and his family’s help, they were able to topple down the villain who betrayed their family for his own gains. As a result, Sanda was able to save his parents and group from the hands of a savage betrayer.

The win against Benkei was also possible due to Sanda’s decision to side with Hachi, Ryu, and the rest. He pretended to have abandoned Ryu before attacking the villain who was caught off-guard. They also acted swiftly when they managed to grab the key and stopped the missile from going off and killing everyone in sight.

The new arc is up next and release date

In any case, it was said that “Samurai 8” chapter 34 will tell a new story as the previous arc already ended with chapter 33. With Benkei’s demise, the next narrative is waiting to be told. Based on the spoilers already available online, one of the following arcs will be the next chapter: Daruma Gaiden/Past arc, School vs. School arc, Yasha-sama arc, Ryu’s origins arc, and Galactic Special Forces arc.

Fans will not have to wait that long before the new arc is revealed via “Samurai 8” chapter 34. The manga took a break, and when it returns, a new story will unfold. And as shared on The Anime High, the upcoming chapter is set to be released on Jan. 19.

Everyone can read “Samurai 8” chapter 34 via VIZ’s web page under the Weekly Shonen Jump. It can also be read through Shuisha’s Manga Plus app, which is available for free.
