SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 29, 2017 -- Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity company, today announced that vice president of engineering, Jan Van Bruaene, will be speaking at AI Expo North America 2017.
On the first day of the conference, Van Bruaene will participate in the “Driving Digital Transformation Through AI & DL Development” panel alongside industry experts from San Jose State University, Synechron and Unity Technologies, Inc. This panel is scheduled for Wednesday, November 29 at 2 p.m.
The panelists will discuss the fundamental elements needed to build a digital organization using AI, ML and DL, including people, skills and technology. They’ll also examine digital transformation from both industrial and business information perspectives, discuss the role of other companies within the process and provide real life examples of successful transformations across the enterprise. As a part of the event’s “AI for Developers” track, this panel will provide valuable insights to enterprise architects looking to expedite and streamline digital transformation within their organizations.
Van Bruaene joined RTI in 2006 and currently leads a team of application services engineers to deliver system design and custom implementations using RTI Connext® DDS technology. Van Bruaene has more than 17 years of experience in technical and customer-facing leadership roles at companies such as Sun Microsystems and VLSI Technology, where he led professional services, support and engineering organizations in middleware, grid application and infrastructure software, operating system design, and device driver and network chip development.
AI Expo North America is a two-day conference that will showcase the next generation technologies and strategies from the world of artificial intelligence, providing an opportunity to explore and discover the practical and successful implementation of AI to drive business forward in 2017 and beyond. The AI Expo brings together more than 2,000 visitors including IT decision makers, developers and designers, heads of innovation, brand managers, data scientists, startups, tech providers and venture capitalists.
