Polish industrial output growth to accelerate further in March

The Polish PMI reflected a decrease from 55.1 points to 54.8 points in March but still indicates the solid state of Polish industry.The acceleration in industrial output growth in March is also supported by the calendar effect (one more working day versus a year earlier).

"Industrial output growth to have increased to 5.9% yoy in March from 4.9% in February. In monthly terms, we see an increase of 10.4%. Industrial output growth in March was mainly driven by growth in manufacturing (6.9% yoy) and water supply (4.2% yoy)", says Societe Generale.

Car production in March increased by 21.9% yoy, according to recent SAMAR data.
