“Outlander” season 4 episode 4 is still based on Diana Gabaldon’s fourth novel entitled “Drums of Autumn” and it promises romance drama that transcends time. This season will show Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) traveling across the world and reaching 18th century America where they decided to settle and build their new life together.
However, it was not an easy journey for they already encountered lots of misfortunes along the way. They almost experienced it all, they were robbed, beaten up, witnessed deaths and saved a man who turned out to be a dangerous traitor.
“Outlander” season 4 episode 4 is titled “Common Ground” and according to Outlander TV News, its synopsis reads: “Having been led by providence to Fraser’s Ridge, Jamie, Claire and Young Ian begin to build a home in the Blue Ridge Mountains.”
It continued, “But their efforts are stymied by unwelcoming neighbors and a bloodthirsty bear that ravages their settlement. In the 20th century, Roger tries to reconnect with Brianna by searching for proof that her parents found each other in the past.”
“Outlander” season 4 episode 4 will pick up from the time when Jamie Fraser and wife Claire decided to settle on a vast Cherokee land by accepting the Governor’s offer to give them a land that was later renamed to Fraser’s ridge. But then again, it was not smooth sailing for the couple as the community does not seems to want them in Cherokee.
“Outlander” season 4 episode 4 shows promo video shows that people on the land are not happy to have them on their territory. In fact, the locals are trying to intimidate and harass them but apparently, Jamie and Claire still chose to stay.
Meanwhile, Roger and Brianna will also be one of the highlights in “Outlander” season 4 episode 4. They have previously called it quits but it seems that they will be back in each other’s arms again. Roger’s proposal in episode 3’s “The False Bride” was also rejected and it is interesting to see how he and Brianna will reconnect again in the fourth episode.
