The series created by Eiichiro Oda may have been running for decades now, but it is not running out of mysteries to unveil. “One Piece” chapter 996 will reveal one crucial piece of information about Trafalgar Law that could be a hint that he is not dying anytime soon.
Law has one more reason for being in Wano
It is important to keep in mind that the series is in the middle of a war right now, so many things are happening at once. Law is finally coming back in “One Piece” chapter 996, but he will not be included in any fight scenes. However, his appearance still has to be one of the highlights in the upcoming chapter.
The leaked pages of “One Piece” chapter 996 show Law approaching what appears to be a poneglyph followed by flashback panels of his conversation with Robin. The captain of the Hearts Pirates reveals his real full name is Trafalgar D. Water Law. And like avid fans, he is also searching for the meaning and truth about the D clan.
Many questions are still hanging about this matter, but it is believed that the answer can be found on the Road Poneglyph. It happens to be in the possession of Kaido and the Beasts Pirates at the moment. This means, while Law is in Wano to honor his alliance, he also has a more personal reason to defeat Kaido now.
Fans have been speculating on the death of an important character in the Wano Kuni arc, and Law is one of the potentials characters that fit the bill. With a new ambition to fulfill, however, it is very likely for Law to remain live throughout this story arc. Of course, this is not a guarantee but it increases his chances to stay alive in “One Piece” chapter 996 and beyond.
