(NASDAQ:NVLN), a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing new standards of care for individuals living with rare metabolic diseases, today announced that District Judge William Young rejected Aegerion Pharmaceuticals’ amended criminal plea agreement which was negotiated with the United States Department of Justice (DOJ). Aegerion Pharmaceuticals is an indirect subsidiary of Novelion. The Company, in consultation with its outside counsel, is currently evaluating its options and next steps.
