PLYMOUTH, Minn., Feb. 20, 2018 -- NimbeLink, the world’s leading provider of cellular technology, solutions and services, today announced that company CEO and Co-Founder Scott Schwalbe will be speaking at the 6th Annual GSMA Mobile IoT Summit taking place at the Hotel NH Collection Barcelona Tower on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. Schwalbe will deliver his presentation titled, “Early Cat M Developer with Verizon: How To Deploy LPWA Cellular Solutions Quickly and Easily.”
As one of the first companies to develop and deploy Cat M solutions on the Verizon network, Schwalbe’s presentation will educate event attendees on how to quickly and easily deploy LPWA cellular solutions, and that asset tracking, in particular, is one of the fastest growing applications in IoT. For this reason, NimbeLink created a LTE M asset tracking solution that is currently deployed in the market and on the Verizon network.
“NimbeLink is convinced that LTE-M is the right solution for a large percentage of asset tracking solutions,” says Schwalbe. “We started working with Sequans and Verizon very early on and we were prepared to launch our solution as soon as the network went live. And because the costs are no longer prohibitive, carrier networks have advanced, and Edge-to-the-Enterprise technology is here, the barrier to entry has been removed and truly functional asset tracking is a reality. I’m looking forward to sharing these details and much more in Barcelona.”
Additionally, and in partnership with Sequans, NimbeLink will be jointly conducting a live demo of the NimbeLink LTE Cat M1 Asset Tracker in Sequans’ booth #5C87 in Hall 5 at MWC.
“Sequans and NimbeLink have developed a great partnership over many years,” said Georges Karam, Sequans CEO. “The launch of the NimbeLink asset tracker with Sequans’ Monarch technology inside is proof-positive of the value of the collaboration between our two teams and the result is a very high quality asset tracker. The professionals at the GSMA Summit and those that come by the Sequans booth during Mobile World Congress will be introduced to a top-notch solution.”
