After Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra tied the knot in December, the newly minted power couple has been plagued by various rumors. But one particular story allegedly got the pair so fired up they decided to sue the outlet that published it, India Today reported.
The tabloid in question is OK! magazine, a publication that has a reputation for spinning false stories involving high-profile individuals. Back in December, the outlet wrote an article about Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra claiming that the two have been feuding over which city to live.
Now, the magazine is claiming that the couple is heading into divorce with the information coming from a supposed source. “They’ve been fighting about everything – work, partying, spending time together. The bottom line is that Nick [Jonas] and Priyanka [Chopra] rushed into things… and now they’re paying the price. Their marriage is hanging by a thread,” the unnamed tipster claimed.
Following the piece’s publication, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra were apparently pissed at the false claim and are putting together a legal team to sue the outlet. So is there any semblance of truth to OK! magazine’s story? The short answer is no.
A quick look into Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s respective social media accounts will tell you that they are very much in love and very much enjoying marital bliss. Their most recent outing was when the Jonas Brothers went to a Penn state college bar to perform for a frenzied crowd. And everyone in attendance seemed to have a blast.
And that’s just for one evening. After Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra got married, their Instagram accounts are rife with photos showcasing their love for each other and the fun they’ve been having since then. As for the magazine, fans of the couple were quick to flame the outlet for having written such phony claims.
