“NCIS” season 16 poses another danger for Vance (Rocky Carroll). Meanwhile, an upcoming episode will focus on a stolen mural made by a street artist with a “special connection” with Bishop (Emily Wickersham).
Viewers saw Vance endure a life-threatening “NCIS” season 16 opener, which he eventually survived along with Sloane (Maria Bello). He had a hard time getting back to his usual routine and initially wanted to stay in physical therapy longer than he needed to avoid work.

Eventually, Vance pulled through and decided to go back to his office by the end of “NCIS” season 16 episode 3. Staying on the course of moving on, Vance also decided to ask a woman he met in his therapy clinic for a dinner date. The said woman happily accepted Vance’s invitation. And, for a moment, fans thought Vance would finally find love again.
Unfortunately, it was immediately revealed that the woman was only around Vance so she could assess him and put him under surveillance. The same “NCIS” season 16 episode also gave fans a glimpse of a mysterious man who seemed to be the one pulling the strings for whatever anti-Vance operation they have.
Since then, two “NCIS” season 16 episodes have been released without giving another glimpse of the unknown characters. But they will obviously show up in the upcoming episodes as the writers and producers build up another major threat to Vance’s life.
The teasers for episodes 6 and 7 do not mention any update on the unknown danger that awaits Vance. But this storyline will likely escalate soon and Vance could face another ordeal in the “NCIS” season 16 midseason finale, which usually happens in episode 10.
Meanwhile, the operations at the NCIS headquarters continue amid the lurking danger for Vance. This week’s episode is going to be the official “NCIS” season 16 Halloween special. Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) finds out that a friend from FLETC is the victim in their next case.

In “NCIS” season 16 episode 7, the team will be investigating a stolen mural created by a street artist and activist. According to the official teaser, this will lead Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the others to a “conspiracy regarding a Navy contractor and the safety of ocean mammals.” There will be a one-week hiatus between episodes 6 and 7, which are currently slated to air on Oct. 30 and Nov. 13, respectively, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
