Most people thought that Midoriya and Toga met for the first time during the provisional hero licensure exam where the murderous villain disguised herself as one of the participants. However, the previous chapter might have just revealed that there is more to this relationship than meets the eye. In fact, it is entirely possible that “My Hero Academia” Chapter 226 will show Deku as the cause for Toga’s insanity.
As TheAnimeScrolls notes, the previous chapter revealed that Toga used to be a normal girl leading a normal life. However, after graduating from middle school, she dropped off the grid and became a villain. During the incessant questioning of the lady reporter who is also her opponent, the blood-sucking character had flashbacks and one scene stood out most. “My Hero Academia” Chapter 226 might elaborate more on it.
The scene basically depicted an injured boy with features astoundingly similar to that of Midoriya. The teen looked beat up as if someone was bullying him but he was standing up for himself, anyway. Toga was in a crowd of other students who were seemingly jeering at this boy. This could have been the moment that broke the camel’s back for Toga, as “My Hero Academia” Chapter 226 might show.
Naturally, this is nothing more than speculation, at this point. It would also be just as likely that the boy was someone else who simply looked like Deku. Only time will tell and with any luck, more information about this point will be included in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 226.
As for when “My Hero Academia” Chapter 226 is actually coming out, April 27 is the date to look out for. The chapter is likely to feature more details about the battle between the League of Villains and the Quirk Liberation Army. If heroes arrive on the scene, things are about to get even messier.
