Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Wednesday. On the other side, gold was trading around $1,262 mark and silver was trading around $17.62 marks. Today China released GDP as well as retail sales data with flat numbers.
China’s Q3 GDP y/y stays flat at 6.7 % (forecast 6.7 %) vs previous 6.7 %. In addition, China’s September industrial output y/y decreases to 6.1 % (forecast 6.4 %) vs previous 6.3 %.
China’s September retail sales y/y increases to 10.7 % (forecast 10.6 %) vs previous 10.6 % and China’s Q3 GDP Q/Q stays flat at 1.8 % (forecast 1.8 %) vs previous 1.8 %.
South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.31 percent higher at 2,046.36 points.
Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.09 percent higher at 16,978.50 points.
Shanghai composite index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,085.75 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,323.30 points.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.14 percent lower at 23,362.26 points.
Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.33 percent higher at 5,428.10 points.
Taiwan stocks open up 0.1 pct at 9,227.98 points.
