Most Asian markets in red, gold back above $1,270 mark

Asian indices were trading on a negative note on the last working day of the week. Gold and silver were trading on a higher note on early hours of Asia. Gold was trading around $1,271 mark while silver was trading around $17.66 mark.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.20 percent lower at 2,020.36 points.

Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.55 percent higher at 17,429.50 points.

Shanghai composite index to open flat at 3,111.70 points and China's CSI300 index to open flat at 3,347.14 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.34 percent lower at 23,054.26 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.39 percent lower at 5,275.10 points.

Taiwan stocks open up 0.1 pct at 9,307.39 points.
