‘Modern Family’ season 8’s episode 10, entitled “Ringmaster Keifth,” will feature Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) as he struggles to recover from the events of Thanksgiving by hosting a New Year’s Day feast for the family. However, his event goes awry and Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) unintentionally brings in Cam’s ex-boyfriend help out.
The synopsis for “Ringmaster Keifth” posted on TV Buzer reads, “Trying to recover from his Thanksgiving debacle, Cam decides to treat the family to a New Year's Day feast. After realizing that Cam's recent attempt is also a complete fail and in order to salvage their meal, Mitch uses a "concierge gift card" that he received as a Christmas gift.
Cam soon discovers that the concierge who is on his way to save the day is none other than his ex-boyfriend Keifth (Kelsey Grammer), a former circus ringmaster who left him without saying goodbye.
Meanwhile, Phil’s dad Frank (Fred Willard) arrives with his new girlfriend, who happens to be Phil’s childhood babysitter, which sets him on a confusing tailspin. Finally, Gloria and Jay have to decide who to take care of little Joe (Jeremy Maguire) if something should ever happen to them.”
It seems that Cameron has set his sights on making amends for his Thanksgiving disaster through a New Year’s Dad feast. It would be interesting to see how he would react to seeing his ex-boyfriend again ever since their split. According to Fab News, the incoming episode may address Cam and Kiefth’s past relationship as well as their eventual break-up.
Meanwhile, things are bound to get a bit too strange for Phil when his father brings in his new girlfriend, who also happened to be his babysitter as a child. The incoming episode may see a confrontation between Phil and his dad over his current girlfriend. Jay and Gloria will also discuss Joe’s future in case something happens to one or both of them.
‘Modern Family’ season 8’s episode 10, entitled “Ringmaster Keifth," is scheduled to air on ABC on January 4, 2017. It was directed by Jim Hensz and written by Vali Chandrasekaran. It will be followed by episode 11, titled "Sarge & Pea," scheduled for January 11.
