NEW YORK, March 05, 2018 -- Mercer International Inc. (Nasdaq:MERC) (TSX:MERC.U) ("Mercer" or the "Company") provides an update on its previously announced claim against the Government of Canada under the North American Free Trade Agreement ("NAFTA") that was initiated in January 2012. The Company has been advised that the decision of the NAFTA tribunal will be issued on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
Mercer will provide a further update on the NAFTA decision as and when it becomes available.
