Lee Min Ho regrets this one thing when he passionately kissed Park Shin Hye in ‘The Heirs’

Lee Min Ho is one of the most popular actors in South Korea. In fact, he already starred in many movies and dramas and mostly, he was in the lead role and paired with popular actresses as well. His leading ladies are veterans in the field too and since his dramas are mostly featuring the romance genre, kiss scenes are expected.

Min Ho already had dozens of kissing scenes with his partners in movies and dramas, and some even involved really passionate kissing just like in “Personal Taste” where he was paired with Son Ye Jin. But then, it seems that his most memorable kiss scene was with Park Shin Hye who he starred with in “The Heirs.”

The actor revealed there is something he regretted in their kiss scene

According to KDrama Stars, Lee Min Ho believes that all actors must follow whatever they were asked to do by their directors even if the scenes could cause an awkward moment. And such a moment apparently happened on the set of “The Heirs” that was released in 2013.

In one of his interviews after the drama premiered, he was asked about the passionate kissing scene with Park Shin Hye and he shared that his partner was not aware that they will have that scene. Thus, she was really surprised when their lips met at that time when filming.

"I was really surprised," Shin Hye said in another interview. "During that kiss scene, I grabbed Lee Min Ho's shirt."

Then again, her surprised reaction made the scene even more convincing and beautiful that is why regardless of how uncomfortable it might have been for both Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho, they did well and the director was highly satisfied. It was further relayed that the scene was added because they deemed it necessary to show their rugged relationship in the drama.

What Min Ho thinks about the scene

Lee Min Ho is a gentleman and he said that with his kiss scene with Park Shin Hye, he only complied with their director’s orders. He admitted that the scene was just a random idea but it completed the story so it just the right move.

He just said that one thing he regretted is that Shin Hye was really startled since she was clueless that it will happen. He feels bad about this but then it was for their drama.

"Since the kiss was the culmination of all the events and emotions leading up to it, there was no other alternative than to do it for real," KStar Live quoted the actor as saying. "I did regret that no one told Park Shin Hye beforehand because usually, actresses are given an idea of what will happen.”
