Making the film “A Star Is Born” did not only give Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper a number of prestigious awards and nominations. It also brought them relentless romance rumors that was further fueled by their very convincing on-stage performance of the song “Shallow” at the Oscars earlier this year. Have they been seeing each other since then?
Reports after the said performance suggest that Lady Gaga and Cooper have actually not seen each other since. A source told PEOPLE last month, “Since the awards season ended, Bradley spends every day with his family.”
Lady Gaga’s on-screen love interest reportedly decided to take a break from work by spending most of his time with his long-time partner and supermodel Irina Shayk as well as their 2-year-old daughter Lea. “Most days, Bradley and Irina take Lea out for activities together,” the insider said.
Meanwhile, Shayk was also caught in the middle of all the unproven claims that Lady Gaga and Cooper have become more than friends while working on “A Star Is Born.” But the same source assured fans that, “Bradley and Irina seem great.”
To the question of whether or not the movie co-stars were seeing each other after the awards season, the same source said, “It seems Bradley hasn’t spent any time with Lady Gaga. He has been all about his family.”
Lady Gaga received a number of awards for co-writing the song “Shallow” including the Oscars, Critics’ Choice, Golden Globe, and a Grammy. Meanwhile, Cooper also shares a Grammy with the singer-actress for their record of the same song.
Given how Cooper’s character’s fate went down in the film, a sequel with them together is quite impossible. But the actor-director has another idea of how his reunion with Lady Gaga could happen. “What I thought would be a cool thing to do, maybe one night, would be like a live reading of the script and sing all the songs as we read the script, like at the Hollywood Bowl or something,” Cooper told Ellen DeGeneres in April.
