Kate Middleton, Prince William divorce: Did the Buckingham Palace cover up the Duke of Cambridge’s cheating scandal?

Prince William and Kate Middleton have long been rumored to be divorcing. While many reasons were mentioned in the past, the latest is that the Duke of Cambridge cheated on his wife with Rose Hanbury. The prince was said to have had an affair with his wife’s friend, but of course, this was not proven.

Prince William and Hanbury’s scandal broke out just a few months ago, and now the story is rarely mentioned in the tabloids and news reports. This is not a surprising turn of events because it was said that it is possible that the Buckingham Palace had used its media team to quash the rumors and cover up the affair so it will not blow up further.

Prince William’s alleged affair

It has been four months since Prince William and Kate Middleton’s friend, Rose Hanbury were linked. And while the media love to write about the royal scandals, this one has been shut down really fast that the Marchioness of Cholmondeley is not mentioned as often now. She also threatened to sue once, and it was said that Middleton would also sue people who were spreading lies about Prince William’s supposed affair, but it is really true that there was no affair? Or it was just covered up?

Palace cover-up?

The people will never know about the truth of Prince William and his alleged affair because there were suspicions that the Buckingham Palace is working to stop these rumors. In fact, lawyers from the palace have taken steps to suppress the rumors.

“In addition to being false and highly damaging, the publication of false speculation in respect of our client’s private life also constitutes a breach of his privacy pursuant to Article 8 of the European Convention to Human Rights,” the lawyer said.

Clearly, the Royal Family is trying to avoid another scandal following the famous divorces in the clan. To be more specific, they want to steer clear of the affairs like what happened to Prince Charles and Prince Diana because it really damaged the royals. The British Monarch is also just recovering from the past scandals, and they cannot allow Prince William’s cheating rumors to ruin their road to recovery.
