Jennifer Aniston believes that her failed marriages to Justin Theroux and Brad Pitt were actually successful. The former “Friends” actress said that in her opinion, even if she ended up being divorced twice, she does not see her marriage to her former husbands in a negative light and this was because all of them were happy with the decision.
In her latest interview with Elle magazine, Jennifer Aniston opened up about her love life once again and if this is the topic, mentioning about her ex-husbands, Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, is a given. The actress called it quits after five years of marriage to Angelina Jolie’s ex.
They split in 2005 and she found love again and married Justin Theroux in 2015. Unfortunately, Jennifer Aniston and the “Leftovers” star broke up just after a little over two years.
Now, commenting on her two divorces, Jennifer Aniston told the magazine, "My marriages, they’ve been very successful, in my personal opinion. And when they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness didn’t exist within that arrangement anymore.”
She went on to explain, “Sure, there were bumps and not every moment felt fantastic, obviously, but at the end of it, this is our one life and I would not stay in a situation out of fear.”
Moreover, Jen revealed that despite being separated to Brad and Justin Theroux, she does not feel a void and this was because it was her decision and she did it so that she and her ex-partners would be happy.
In any case, after her split with Justin Theroux, Jennifer Aniston has never dated anyone yet. She said that being single and not having children at 49 does not make her depressed, in fact, she wants to break the common notion that a woman should be married and have kids once she reached her age.
