Chocolate fans are complaining about eating KitKat bars without any wafer but just a solid chocolate bar.
Other than the original bar, the brand's 'Chunky' and flavored ranges were also being sold waferless.
With KitKats being traditionally a chocolate-coated biscuit bar with three layers of wafer biscuits, making such variations backfired.
A purchaser Tracy Bennett argued that if she didn't want a wafer, she wouldn't have bought a KitKat.
Another angry chocoholic Bronwyn Openshaw said KitKats don't taste nice without the wafer."
KitKat, manufactured by Nestle, also came under fire last week for discontinuing its vegan options dubbed 'KitKat V.' The brand reasoned that it was less popular than its dairy counterpart.
But a new tweet from the brand said the KitKat V will be returning to the UK later this year.
