Lots of economic dockets scheduled for today but some with high risks associated.

 

Data released so far –

 

  • New Zealand – ANZ commodity prices declined -0.8% in April.                                    

 

Upcoming –  

 

  • France – Trade balance for March will be released at 6:45 GMT. Markit services PMI will be announced at 7:50 GMT.

 

  • Spain – Unemployment change for April will be released at 7:00 GMT. Markit services PMI will be announced at 7:15 GMT.

 

  • Italy - Markit services PMI will be announced at 7:45 GMT.

 

  • Germany - Markit services PMI will be announced at 7:55 GMT. Bundesbank president Weidmann is scheduled to speak at 10:15 GMT.

 

  • Greece - Markit services PMI will be announced at 8:00 GMT.

 

  • Euro Zone – Markit services PMI will be announced at 8:00 GMT. Retail sales for March will be released at 9:00 GMT.

 

  • United Kingdom – Markit construction PMI will be released at 8:30 GMT.
     
  • United States – MBA mortgage applications will be released at 11:00 GMT, followed by ADP employment report at 12:15 GMT. Trade balance for March will be released at 12:30 GMT, along with unit labor cost and productivity for first quarter. Redbook index is scheduled for release at 12:55 GMT, followed by Markit services PMI at 13:45 GMT and ISM non-manufacturing PMI at 14:00 GMT. Factory orders from March will also be released then. EIA will release crude oil inventory report at 14:30 GMT.

 

  • Canada – Trade balance for March will be released at 12:30 GMT.
