Not many economic dockets scheduled for today but some with high risks associated.

 

Data Released so far –

 

  • Australia – National Australia business confidence remained flat at 4

 

Upcoming –  

 

  • Switzerland – Trade balance for March will be released at 6:00 GMT.

 

  • France – Business climate survey will be released at 7:45 GMT.

 

  • United Kingdom – Retail sales for March will be released at 8:30 GMT. Bank of England governor Mark Carney is scheduled to speak at 14:00 GMT.

 

  • Portugal – May release February’s current account details.

 

  • Euro Zone – ECB will announce monetary policy at 11:45 GMT, followed by press conference at 12:30 GMT. Consumer confidence will be released at 14:00 GMT.

 

  • United States – Weekly initial jobless claims will be released at 12:30 GMT, along with Philadelphia FED manufacturing survey. House price index will be released at 13:00 GMT and CB leading indicator at 14:00 GMT.
