Not many economic dockets scheduled for today but most with high risks associated.

Data released so far -

  • Australia - Home loans dropped -3.9% in January, while investment lending for homes declined by -1.6%.

 Upcoming -  

  • Japan - Preliminary reading on Machine tools orders will be released at 6:00 GMT. Domestic goods price index will be released at 23:50 GMT.
  • France - Non-farm payroll report for fourth quarter will be released at 6:30 GMT.
  • UK - Industrial and manufacturing production data for January will be released at 9:30 GMT. NIESR will release GDP estimate at 15:00 GMT.
  • US - MBA mortgage applications will be released at 12:00 GMT, followed by Wholesale inventories at 15:00 GMT. EIA will release crude oil inventory report at 15:30 GMT.
  • Canada - Bank of Canada (BoC) will announce policy decision 15:00 GMT.
  • New Zealand - RBNZ will announce interest rate decision at 20:00 GMT. Governor Wheeler is expected to speak at 23:00 GMT.
  • Auctions - US will auction 10 year bond at 18:00 GMT and
