  • Australia - National Australia Bank's business confidence rose to 4 from 1 in fourth quarter.

Upcoming 

  • Switzerland - SECO consumer climate will be released at 6:45 GMT
     
  • UK - Halifax house price might get released today, possibly around 8:30 GMT. Bank of England (BOE) to announce monetary policy and publish inflation expectations. BOE governor Carney is scheduled to speak at 12:45 GMT.
     
  • Euro Zone - ECB president Mario Draghi is scheduled to speak at 8:00 GMT. Economic bulletin will be released today at 9:00 GMT.
     
  • US - Challenger job cuts will be announced at 12:30 GMT. Weekly jobless claims will be released at 13:30 GMT, along with unit labour cost and nonfarm productivity. Factory orders will be released at 15:00 GMT. EIA will release natural gas inventory report at 15:30 GMT.
     
  • Australia - AIG performance of construction index will be released at 22:30 GMT.
