Data released so far -

• China - MNI business sentiment index came at 52.3 for December, marginally lower than November's 52.7.

• Japan - Nikkei manufacturing PMI came at 52.4 compared to prior 52.6

Upcoming -  

• Euro Zone - ECB president Draghi is scheduled to speak at 7:45 GMT. Flash manufacturing and services PMI to be released at 9:00 GMT.

• France - Flash manufacturing and services PMI to be released at 8:00 GMT.

• Germany - Flash manufacturing and services PMI to be released at 8:30 GMT.

• UK - Retail sales for December to be released at 9:30 GMT.

• India - RBI will declare FX reserve at 11:30 GMT.

• US - Chicago FED national activity index to be released at 13:30 GMT. Flash Markit manufacturing PMI will be released at 14:45 GMT, followed by existing home sales at 15:00 GMT along with CB leading indicator.
