Data released so far 

• UK - Right move house price index rose 0.5% in January, bringing the gains to 6.5% from a year ago.
   
• Australia - New motor vehicle sales dropped -0.5% in December, up 2.2% from a year ago.
   
• China - House price index rose 1.6% in December.
   
• Japan - Tertiary industry index dropped -0.8% in November and industrial production dropped by -0.9% but up 1.7% from a year ago.
   
• India - Trade deficit from April to December came at $99.2 billion.

 Upcoming 

• Italy - Trade balance for November to be released at 9:00 GMT.

• Germany - Bundesbank will release monthly report today.

• New Zealand - NZIER business confidence to be released at 21:00 GMT for fourth quarter.
