Data released so far
- New Zealand - ANZ business confidence rose to 10.5% from prior -18.9%. Activity outlook improved to 23.7% from 16.7%.
- Australia - Private sector credit grew 6.7% in September from a year ago, up from 6.3% in August. Producer price index grew 0.9% in third quarter, up 1.7% from a year ago.
- UK - GFK consumer confidence dropped to 2 in October from 3 in September.
- Japan - Bank of Japan kept policy steady. Housing starts grew 2.5% in September from a year ago, down from 8.8% in August.
- Germany - Retail sales rose by 3.4% in September from a year ago.
- France - Consumer spending remained flat in September to August level, while producer price index inched up by 0.1% in September from a month ago.
- Spain - Estimate showed third quarter GDP to grow 3.4% in third quarter on yearly basis, up from 3.1% prior.
- Switzerland - KOF leading indicator dropped to 99.8 in October from 100.3 in September.
- Italy - Unemployment rate for September came at 11.8%, marginally better from prior 11.9%

- Italy - Inflation data to be released at 10:00 GMT. Producer price inflation to be released at 11:00 GMT.
- Greece - Greece will announce retail sales for August and Producer price index for September at 10:00 GMT.
- Euro Zone - Consumer inflation and unemployment rate to be released at 10:00 GMT.
- UK - Consumer credit and net lending to individuals to be released at 9:30 GMT along with M4 money supply. Conference board trade survey to be released at 11:00 GMT.
- Euro zone - Euro zone confidence data to be released at 10:00 GMT.
- Portugal - Portugal will release business and consumer confidence for October today.
- US - US will release personal income and spending data for September at 12:30 GMT, followed by Chicago PMI at 13:45 GMT and Michigan consumer sentiment at 14:00 GMT.
- Canada - Canada will announce monthly GDP at 12:30 GMT.
