“Game Of Thrones” Season 7 Spoilers: Euron Greyjoy After Theon And Yara, Not Cersei? New Clue In Official Trailer Might Foretell A Lannister Death

The official trailer for Season 7 of “Game of Thrones” had every conspiracy-theorist fan cooking up ideas on what to expect in the upcoming installment. Obviously, Season 7 will be full of battles judging from the amount of footage dedicated to it. But a couple of theories are now pointing to two new theories.

For one, the armada of Euron Greyjoy has been spotted making its way, many are assuming, to Daenerys Targaryen, so he can form an alliance (and possibly offer marriage). However, Mashable said it could be possible that Euron might be toying with a couple of strategies: destroy Theon and Yara first so Daenerys will have no choice but to accept his troops and marriage in the latter’s quest to claim her right to the throne, or head out and offer his services directly to the current reigning queen, Cersei Lannister herself. But the tech site is pointing to the former, and that Euron Greyjoy might possess a mythical object that would allow him to control Dany’s dragons.

Another theory is about Cersei’s eventual death. Vanity Fair points to a beautiful scene wherein Cersei and her brother Jaime are both standing on a floor showing the map of Westeros. The first glance might show them that they’re standing at just random spots on the map, but some eagle-eye viewers noted that the locations they are standing on seems to be suggesting that the prophecy foretold by Maggy: that Cersei will be killed at the hands of her “little brother.” Although people are obviously pointing at Tyrion, many are thinking it would be poetic if Jaime will be the one who’ll kill his sister.

Actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau had earlier said of his character after the last season, “He does not understand what the game plan is. No one will accept [Cersei] as queen willingly. I’m not sure he understands or knows who that person is now. And that’s scary.”
