FxWirePro call review: Keep bund short, keep DAX long for another 1000 points

In our article in January, named, “FxWirePro: Buy DAX, sell 10-year bund”, available at http://www.econotimes.com/ , we recommended to our readers to go short in the 10-year bund at the then current rate of 1 .4, while going long on the German benchmark stock index DAX at the then current rate 11600.

This call has been extremely profitable as the 10-year bund is currently trading at 161 and the DAX is trading at 12600. In a prior article, we also recommended partial profit booking in this trade and continue with the rest in light of the then upcoming French election round one.

As the French election outcome was in line with the polls published, we see little risk of any major upset in the round two and the pro-EU candidate Emmanuel Macron is very much likely to become the next French President. Such an outcome is likely to trigger another risk on rally in the DAX, while the safe Haven German 10-year bund would move lower.

We have already forecasted in previous article that we at FxWirePro see the 10-year bund weakening to levels as low as 153. Now, we would like to forecast our next target for DAX which 1000 points higher from here at 13600.
