Lots of economic dockets and events scheduled for today and some with high volatility risks associated.

Data released so far:

  • China: Exports in Chinese yuan rose by 44.7 percent y/y in February. Imports up by 4.2 percent. Trade balance came at -60.4 billion.

Upcoming:

  • Japan: Leading index and coincident index numbers will be published at 5:00 GMT, followed by Eco-watchers survey report at 6:00 GMT.
     
  • Germany: German industrial production report for January will be published at 7:00 GMT.
     
  • France: Trade balance report for January will be released at 7:45 GMT.
     
  • Switzerland: Consumer price inflation report will be published at 8:15 GMT.
     
  • United States: MBA mortgage application numbers will be reported at 12:00 GMT, followed by ADP employment report at 13:15 GMT. Fourth quarter non-farm productivity and unit labor cost numbers will be released at 13:30 GMT. EIA will release crude oil inventory report at 15:30 GMT.
     
  • Canada: Housing starts data for February will be reported at 13:15 GMT, followed by building permits numbers and fourth quarter labor productivity at 13:30 GMT.
     
  • Auctions: U.S. will auction 10-year note on 18:00 GMT.
