- Japan: Industrial production grew by 1.3 percent in August, up 4.5 percent from a year ago.

- Italy: Industrial production data for August will be reported at 8:00 GMT.
- Eurozone: CPI inflation stat for September will be released at 8:30 GMT. ECB President Mario Draghi will speak at 17:35 GMT.
- Germany: Bundesbank will release its monthly report at 10:00 GMT.
- United States: New York Empire State manufacturing index is scheduled for release at 12:30 GMT, followed by Industrial production at 13:15 GMT.
- United Kingdom: CB leading economic index for September will be published at 13:30 GMT.
- New Zealand: CPI inflation for the third quarter will be released at 22:45 GMT.
