Lot many economic dockets and events scheduled for today and all with low to medium volatility risks associated.

Data released so far:

  • Australia: Home loans for December rose 0.4 percent for December. Investment lending for homes declined by 1 percent.
     
  • China: Trade balance for January came at $51.35 billion. Exports rose by 7.9 percent and imports rose by 16.7 percent.

Upcoming:

  • Japan: Tertiary industry index will be published at 4:30 GMT.
     
  • France: Industrial output for December and fourth quarter non-farm payrolls report will be published at 7:45 GMT.
     
  • Italy: Industrial output for December will be reported at 9:00 GMT.
     
  • United Kingdom: Industrial production and manufacturing production reportss for December will be published at 9:30 GMT, along with trade balance report.
     
  • Portugal: Consumer price inflation report for January will be released today.
     
  • United States: Terms of trade numbers will be announced at 13:30 GMT. Flash Michigan consumer sentiment for February will be released at 15:00 GMT, followed by January budget statement at 19:00 GMT.
     
  • Canada: Unemployment report for January will be published at 13:30 GMT.
