FxWirePro: Social reform in Saudi Arabia a joke; beheading of humanoid citizen says it all

During the U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia, President’s daughter Ivanka praised the new Saudi government’s progress of women’s rights in Saudi Arabia after the country and the United Arab Emirates pledged to donate $100 million to the first World Bank's global project for women entrepreneurs. It was believed by many that the Kingdom is changing how it treats women socially after Saudi Arabia announced earlier this year that it would allow women to drive. The kingdom also announced that it is opening its first ever women driving school. The belief was further reinforced when the kingdom announced that it would allow women in the sports stadium. Moreover, the Kingdom astonish the world by granting citizenship to Sophia, a female looking humanoid.

Sophia was the first humanoid to have received citizenship. However, what followed is more than shocking and clearly reveals that any meaningful social reform in the kingdom remains a far-fetched idea.

Sophia became the first robot citizen to be executed as a band of angry Saudi men dragged her into the streets this week for a public execution, setting yet another milestone for progress in the country. Sophia became the first robot citizen to be executed after a band of angry Saudi men dragged her into the streets earlier today for a public execution, setting yet another milestone for progress in the country.

According to reports from the Duffelblog, "the crowd first began stoning her, but upon finding her carbon fiber exoskeleton was more durable than thought, they then tied a chain around her neck and the other end to a trailer hitch, driving her through the streets until her head became separated from her body." The crown even tried to gang rape the humanoid.

The humanoid’s crime was traveling around the city without a male escort, without a hijab, expressing her own opinions, and allegedly fluttering her plastic made eyelashes at married men.
