FxWirePro: GBP/USD gains some ground but outlook is bearish

• GBP/USD  strengthened on Thursday  as improved risk sentiment and  expectations of further from Bank of England tightening supported pound.

• The UK services sector continued to expand in August, extending its growth streak to two months, while business confidence rose.

•The final reading of the S&P Global UK Services PMI rose to 52.5 in August from 52.1 in July, marking the sector’s strongest growth since April.

• The focus now shifts to Friday's U.S. nonfarm payrolls report, where analysts forecast an increase of 56,000 in jobs, following July's shock drop of 23,000, with unemployment holding at 4.1%.

•   Immediate resistance is located at 1.3622(38.2%fib), any close above will push the pair towards 1.3690(Higher BB)

•  Strong support is seen at 1.3468(59%fib) and break below could take the pair towards 1.3428(SMA 20).

  Recommendation: Good to sell  around 1.3550, with stop loss of 1.3650 and target price of 1.3450
