• U.S President Donald Trump said his administration had "very good discussions" with Iran, fuelling expectations of an imminent end to the five-month conflict.
• Iranian officials said significant issues remain unresolved in talks with Oman and pushed back against President Trump's suggestion that a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz was imminent.
• Meanwhile, an S&P Global survey released on Wednesday showed Britain's services sector returned to growth in July as new orders recovered, with business confidence for the year ahead reaching its highest level since before the Iran war began in February.
• Immediate resistance is located at 1.9166(SMA 20), any close above will push the pair towards 1.9197(38.2%fib).
• Immediate support is seen at 1.9073 (50%fib) and break below could take the pair towards 1.8991(Lower BBB).
Recommendation: Good to sell around 1.9100, with stop loss of 1.9160 and target price of 1.9020
