FxWirePro: Asian markets noticeably up, gold touches $1,640 mark in early Asia

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Wednesday. Gold was trading around $1,614 mark while silver was trading around $14.36 mark. Silver touched $14.72 mark in Asian hours.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 5.61 pct higher at 19,097.00 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 2.57 pct higher at 4,857.30 points.

South Korea’s kospi was trading 3.08 pct higher at 1,657.12 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 2.01 pct higher at 23,118.50 points.

Taiwanese stock was trading around 3.95 pct higher at 9,652.42 points.

India’s NSE was trading 0.01 pct lower at 7,789.75 points and BSE Sensex was trading 0.23 pct lower at 26,606.29 points.
