FxWirePro: Asian markets noticeably up, gold hovers around $1,200 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Wednsday. Gold was trading around $1,201 mark while silver was trading around $14.18 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 1.24 pct higher at 23,725.50 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.47 pct higher at 6,190.85 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.2 pct at 2,694.80 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,262.00 points.

Taiwan stocks close was trading around 0.84 pct higher at 10,850.11 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 1.03 pct higher at 27,363.55 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.11 pct lower at 2,306.78 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.30 percent higher at 11,312.28 points while BSE Sensex was trading 0.31 points higher at 37,393.82 points.
