FxWirePro: Asian markets mixed, gold slips below $1,270 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Wednesday. Gold was trading around $1,269 mark and silver was trading around $14.78 mark.

Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.48 pct lower at 22,158.85 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.91 pct higher at 6,376.41 points.

Shanghai composite index to open up 0.2 pct at 3,203.56 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.4 pct at 4,033.63 points.

Hong Kong's hang seng index was trading 0.97 percent lower at 29,673.22 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 1.32 percent lower at 2,191.58 points.

Taiwan stock was trading 0.05 percent lower at 11,021.61 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.21 percent higher at 11,600.28 points while BSE Sensex was trading 0.18 points higher at 38,641.87 points.
