France's industrial production is likely to have dropped 0.3% m/m and grown 1.1% y/y in December, mainly because of further drop in energy component and very mild winter in the month. This might partially counter the manufacturing component that is expected to have grown 0.4% m/m. The industrial production in November had fallen 0.9% m/m after growing 0.7% in October, mainly due to major decline in energy production and mild weather. However, November's manufacturing component grew 0.4%, more than forecast, due to robust transport equipment production.
