Franc’s surge could weigh on Swiss GDP growth before long: Capital Economics

Quotes from Capital Economics:

- The Swiss economy posted a healthy 0.6% expansion in Q4, with both net exports and domestic demand continuing to rise. (Data released on Tuesday.)

- But the franc's surge since the removal of the currency cap by the Swiss National Bank in January is likely to hit the economy hard before long.

- We still see Swiss GDP growth slowing to about 1.0% this year and 0.5% in 2016.
