Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are said to be breaking up and set to face a $105 million bitter divorce battle. The couple is going through intense marital problems that the only solution left is separation.
According to Australia’s OK! Magazine, Eva and Ryan have a very good image as husband and wife, but sources said that in reality, their “harmonious” relationship is just a front. They are only trying to maintain this cordial atmosphere as husband and wife for the sake of their children.
In reality, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes’ marriage is falling apart, and divorce is imminent. It may happen any time soon as the pair is said to have reached the breaking point already.
Allegedly, their marital woes began when Eva’s jealousy took the better of her. Her husband Ryan was working on a project with Claire Foy, and she could not help but get jealous over her partner’s friendship with his co-star.
“Eva is extremely possessive and jealous of every woman Ryan works with, but in her mind the timing of Claire’s separation from her husband is suspicious,” the tipster supposedly told the OK! “One time Ryan was going on about how talented Claire is, and Eva got furious and demanded to know what is going on.”
Moreover, it was said that another cause of the rift that led to the decision to divorce was Ryan Gosling’s refusal to have another child. Eva Mendes was said to be asking for a third child, but he said that their hands are already full with their two kids and this infuriated the actress further.
But then, Gossip Cop debunked this news and pointed out that the tipster for this story is suspicious since his or identity is concealed. Plus, Ryan and Eva were spotted together with their kids just two months ago, and they appeared to be celebrating Valentine’s Day at that time.
Finally, Evan Mendes herself denied the divorce rumors with Ryan Gosling during her interview for the May 2019 edition of Woman’s Health. In the article, the actress revealed that she originally did not have plans of having children, but it all changed when she met and fell in love with her husband.
“I didn't envision becoming a mom until 'Ryan Gosling happened. It was the furthest thing from my mind but one person then changed my entire outlook.”
She added, "I mean, falling in love with him - then it made sense for me to have...not kids, but his kids. It was very specific to him."
